The Southern California Pembroke and Cardigan Clubs are having a “Puppy Match” this Saturday. The day includes grooming, oral care, and handling seminars. It's a chance to try your hand at handling your Corgi in a show ring… a good “no stress” event for you and your dog.

Hank got his teeth cleaned this week. Was kind of dreading the process, but no worries. We contacted Linda Hopkins of K9 Brite Bite. What a great job! A very thorough, gentle cleaning… with no anesthesia.

Introducing: Ch. Pennyshire Solid Alibi

The Burbank club awards a special black and white rosette to dogs who finish and receive their championship at their show. A nice tradition.

Hank finished this weekend at the Burbank Kennel Club show with Winners Dog and Best of Opposite Sex.

Thank you, all of you Southern California Corgi folks. You've been a great encouragement, example and coach for us.

We got Hank in February, started showing him on May 2nd, and he finished on October 3rd. What a thrill!

Hank went Best of Breed and then took Fourth Place in the Herding Group. What a thrill!
It was over 100 degrees (the dogs did better than we did).

Turned my back for a second in the studio. I was wondering what the noise was. Hank discovered the Kleenex box on my nightstand. Worked hard to get them all out of the box… he was so proud of himself.



It's the ultimate Corgi chew toy (described as “indestructible” by some). This is a Conewango ID-01AC. It's a liner dairy farmers use for the cow end of automatic milking machines. They're made of soft, food-grade rubber and they're very strong. Hank hasn't made a dent in his yet, it's been a week. He loves playing with it… it's soft, flexible and it rolls on a curve. WE love him playing with it because it doesn't have a squeaker and it's quiet on our hard wood floors. You can have a tug-o-war with it too, it stretches a little.
