Meet VPCorgi’s Heart’s Desire for Rockshire, we call her “Annie Marie.”

She’s very sweet and gets along with our girls Chloe and Billie. Her favorite plaything is her full-size soccer ball.

We said goodbye to Hank.

We had a great time in Seattle, the girls loved visiting the park. They were a big hit too.

Held at the last minute, in August instead of May, Port Townsend’s Rhody Parade was a big hit. After all our struggles during the pandemic, it was a fun day for the entire community.

The corgis love marching along and greeting people… and we get to hear from each block ahead, “Look the corgis are coming!”

We’re entry number 25, out of nearly 50.

We won’t know where they will be staging us until Saturday morning. When we find out, we’ll post it here.

We suggest meeting us at the corner of Lawrence and Harrison Streets in Uptown Port Townsend. You may just jump in and walk with us.

You won’t be able to miss us as we pass.

The Rhody Festival is Back! Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 12 p.m. After a pandemic year without a Rhododendron Festival in Port Townsend—it’s back. You’re invited to bring your Pembrokes and Cardigans and march with us in the Grand Parade as the “Quimper Corgi Clan”. The parade starts at noon in “Uptown” Port Townsend at the intersection of Lawrence and Harrison. We are “staged” about an hour before. That location, and our parade place, will be given to us a couple of days ahead. We’ll post that on the Smiling Corgi website. You may also just wait near the start corner and jump in with us as we pass. The route is about a mile long, it’s mainly flat with a slight downhill near the end. It’s easy, about a mile, and you get to hear from each intersection ahead,  “Look! The corgis are coming!”  And… there’s a Cake Picnic as we finish.

Allie, Billie Jean, Chloe Anne, and Darby Jean started partying a little early this year.

Jack gets to stay close by with Nancy and Michael here in Western Washington.

Katsu gets to go home with Thomas and Caroline to Chicago.
