A Great Weekend in San Diego!

I got Best of Breed BOTH days at the Cabrillo Kennel Club shows in San Diego. Saturday, Ms. Denise Dean gave me Best of Breed and Mrs. Jean Fournier gave me a Group Second place. Sunday, Mrs. Katie Gammill gave me Best of Breed and Ms. Dean gave me a Group Third… dad's so proud of me I bet I'll get a lamb chop AND ice cream.

I'm sure you watched the Eukaneuba National Championship on TV last December… Mrs. Fournier was the judge for Best in Show.

Best of Breed and a Group Second

I got Best of Breed today at the Cabrillo Kennel Club show in Valley Center, CA. I also got a Second Place in the Herding Group.

The breed judge (right) was Ms. Denise Dean and the group judge (left) was Ms. Jean Fournier. You saw Mrs. Fournier as the judge for Best in Show at the 2010 Eukaneuba National Championship from Long Beach, CA, last December.

Dad owes me a ton of ice cream for this one…

A Walk in the Pearl for Corgi Rescue

This is from the annual Corgi Walk in the Pearl in downtown Portland, OR. It benefits the DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital and the rescue efforts of the stuff a great organization with wonderful people and stunning dogs. Jamie Burton, thanks for posting the video.

Corgi Meet-Up

Every Sunday from 10am to noon, Corgis meet at the Dog Park at Huntington Beach's Central Park. The entrance is off Edwards and Inlet. They meet in the “Small Dog” Park. Lots of fun for the dogs and their humans.

Joy in Reinwood

Cathy Santarsiero (Reinwood Corgis) has put up the first pictures of her new litter. If you follow her blog (highly recommended) you know what they've been through in the last year.

Take a look at the Christmas Corgi… and visit often.

The litter shows great promise… dad says his money's on Rebel

BOM in Torrance

We got a BOM today (Best Opposite to Molly), at the South Bay Kennel Club show in Torrance, CA. Molly is GCH Segni at Coventry. Nice club, but a terrible venue and dumb “limited entry” by the superintendent… we could only compete one of the two days… and it was hot, and there weren't enough dogs, and people were crabby… but dad bought me ice cream anyway.
