We marched in Port Townsend's Rhody Grand Parade this weekend. What a blast! We had fourteen Corgis with us and we had a great time. Mom and Dad really liked hearing, “Oh look! Corgis!” all along the parade route. We even had Her Majesty leading us:
Mom and Dad took me to Canada this weekend and I finished my championship there. I won a Group 4 on Friday and a Group 3 on Saturday. We were in Surry, BC, at the Fraser Valley Dog Fanciers shows. Dad bought me a new bandana to celebrate!
These are my kids from a litter with Briar Rose: Arrow and Bravey. Their Mom Michelle is shown here with them as puppies and today as one-year olds! They live with Michelle, her husband Rob, and their daughters Heather & Hiedi. They also live with Lady, a Corgi who keeps everyone in line.
I was there with my kids Chloe Anne, Darby Jean, Arrow and Brave. We also had Lady with us who helps run the Wilson's house where Arrow and Brave live. I got selfies with a whole bunch of people. Here are some pictures that Dad took:
This is a wonderful story about my friend “Buddy”. He told his story to the people he rescued, Bill and Jackie Tinsley, and Bill published it as an Amazon Kindle book. You can get it here from 11-14 December, 2014, as a gift from Buddy.
My last show in the US… Mom and Dad took me to the Annual Specialty of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America. The Bluegrass Bow-Wow was held in Wilmington, Ohio, (wherever that is). The judge was Mr. Thomas “Tim” Mathiesen (Nebriowa Corgis) of Cotati, CA. He gave me the First Award of Merit… Mom and Dad were really excited… and I got a lamb chop for dinner.
From L to R: Judge Mr. Thomas “Tim” Mathiesen, that's my Dad holding my lead, PWCCA President Ms. Donna Gilbert and Bluegrass Bow-Wow Show Co-Chair Gerald Kyle.
