On Our Way to “The National”

Mom, Dad and I are on our way to Gray Summit, Missouri, to the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America's National Specialty Show. Here are some pictures from our trip I had Dad take.

I'm trying to tell Chloe and Darby that they'll be OK without me. Their cousin Zeus and Aunt Jessica are coming to stay.

Our first stop was in a place called Yellowstone (and not because I peed on it).

Saw big, ugly dogs called Bison… and a geyser… still not sure what that was all about.

We stopped at Mt. Rushmore to see these four guys… not sure what that was all about either… they should have some dogs up there.

We were nearly to our hotel after five days of driving when one of our tires got flat. I helped Dad change it.

We got to the Specialty show at a place called Purina Farms… no farm animals, just for dogs. Dad, Mom and everyone else thinks this is just the best place to have a dog show… I like it too.

The show theme is “Main Street USA”, so the first evening event was a “Made in America” Sweepstakes. They divided the country into 4 Divisions and took entries from each.

I won the Western Division… our friends from Southern California and the Northwest all clapped and cheered… it was real fun!

A day off from showing so we went to St. Louis to see an Arch…

not sure what that's all about.
