My Boy Arrow

This is my boy Arrow, he's from my litter with Briar Rose. He won Best of Breed and Best Puppy this weekend at the Cascade Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club's “Puppy Match”. I'm real proud of him.

This is Me at the PWCCA National

My last show in the US… Mom and Dad took me to the Annual Specialty of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America. The Bluegrass Bow-Wow was held in Wilmington, Ohio, (wherever that is). The judge was Mr. Thomas “Tim” Mathiesen (Nebriowa Corgis) of Cotati, CA. He gave me the First Award of Merit… Mom and Dad were really excited… and I got a lamb chop for dinner.

Best Opposite at Golden Gate Specialty

I won Best of Opposite Sex at the Golden Gate Pembroke Welsh Corgi Fanciers’ Specialty show last month. Mom and Dad are thrilled! The judge (right) was Mrs. Linda Roberts (Cherastayne Corgis) from Manchester, England.

Here's what Mrs. Roberts said about me:

Loved this all-quality red headed tri boy. Handsome, well-proportioned, all male head with the kindest of eyes. Ideal size and shape with correct bone, super forehand and neat feet. Strong topline over correct ribbing. Carried himself so well on the move, all of a piece, and purposeful and true from all aspects. He was really on his toes here and gave his handler everything. Put down in beautiful coat and condition. It gave me great pleasure to award him BEST OPPOSITE SEX.

At the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of Southern California's Specialty Corgi Stampede…

The winner of the Saturday (left) event was “Rebecca” GCH Aubrey's Moon River. Rebecca also won the PWCCA National Specialty last year, and you saw her compete in the Herding Group at Westminster this year after winning Best of Breed. She's shown here with her handler Sherri Hurst.

The winner of the Friday (right) event was “Bubbles” GCH Llandian's Champagne On Ice. Bubbles is shown here with her handler, Joan Scott.

Darby Wins in Portland!

My little girl Darby Jean (CH Desprado Alluring Alibi) won Best of Breed Sunday at the Rose City Classic shows in Portland, and I was her Select Dog. She made the cut in the Group competition and was just out of the ribbons… I'm really proud of her, so are Mom and Dad. She's really close to earning her AKC Grand Championship.

Best of Breed in Portland

We're in Portland, Oregon, for the Rose City Classic… four days of dog shows. I won Best of Breed on the first day… and then I placed fourth in the Herding Group. Mom and dad are really proud… I'm hoping for a lamb chop.
