“Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices.”
President Harry S. Truman
Here are Dad’s pictures from our entry in the Port Townsend Rhody Grand Parade.
Marching and Waving…
“Working the Crowd”…
We marched in Port Townsend’s Rhody Grand Parade this weekend. What a blast! We had fourteen Corgis with us and we had a great time. Mom and Dad really liked hearing, “Oh look! Corgis!” all along the parade route. We even had Her Majesty leading us:
Bring your Corgi (with or without a tail)
and spend the day in beautiful Port Townsend
For more information:
All well-behaved Corgis are welcome, no flexi-leads please.
My boy Arrow, now “CH” Mischief Afoot Arrow’s Solid Alibi won his AKC Championship Saturday, at the Peninsula Dog Fanciers’ shows in Bremerton, Washington. Mom, Dad and Arrow’s Mom, Michelle, celebrated with champagne… Arrow and I got some too.
Last week at the Chintimini Kennel Club shows in Albany, Oregon.
Arrow did great! On the first day he won Select Dog, and because his Mom Michelle was handling him he got to go to the National Owner Handler Series Group where he took first place. Because of that, he got to go to the NOHS Best in Show competition where he won Reserve Best in Show. The next day he won Best of Breed and then won a Third Place in Groups.
My boy Odin (from my litter with Fergie) won Winner’s Dog Friday at the Arrowhead Kennel Club shows in Scottsdale, symptoms Arizona. Odin’s Dad Brandon handled him for the first time and did great! Odin’s Mom Kerrie got him all groomed and ready to show. What a team! Thank you breeder Robin Jones (Desprado Corgis in Sierra Vista, pilule AZ) for mentoring Brandon, Kerrie and Odin.
Dad took my daughter “Billy Jean” to the SKC shows this weekend. We’re all proud of her, she showed like she’d been doing it forever.
